MCCALL YOUTH ORCHESTRA

McCall has a youth orchestra! The orchestra rehearses and performs twice a year at the Music Society’s Christmas Concert and Spring Concert. This group of young musicians is directed by orchestra teacher Savannah Owen. This orchestra is made up of violins, violas, cellos and a bass. There are presently about twenty young musicians who are playing in the orchestra. Additional players from the school’s bands will be added as the orchestra grows. The youth orchestra is a fledgling effort that has substantial support from parents. More information below:

• Who’s Invited? All community youth with some prior instrument instruction.  Please contact Savannah Owen for more information.  Children must come prepared to play in a group setting with their own instrument.  Music will be provided.
